3D Form Inspect M&H Software

Software package for measuring 3D shapes on moulds and dies as well as various measuring tasks on machine tools including the creation of measuring reports. 3D Form Inspect enables the fast and easy determination of errors on machined parts and gives an immediate decision about any necessary rework. By using this Software package it is very easy to verify deviations caused by:

  • Wrong or incorrect milling strategy;
  • Cutting conditions that are not optimised;
  • Tool wear or tool deflection;
  • Temperature deviations.

After identifying the cause of machining errors, it is then possible to correct any problems while the workpiece is still clamped on the machine. The creation of a measuring program occurs by clicking requested points on the surface or by selecting relevant coordinate values for measuring points.

Coolant outside/inside the tool (LEU/LEIUHP)

Feeding system of the coolant outside/inside the tool. The system includes:

  • a tank for collecting the tool coolant;
  • a pump enabling the tool coolant to be collected from the machine and be poured into the collecting tank;
  • a pump for feeding the outside line of coolant;
  • a pump for feeding the inside line of the coolant: on this line adjustment of feed rate/pressure of the coolant through softkey positioned onto the control panel;
  • simultaneous use of the two coolant lines (outside/inside);
  • system for separating the oil from the coolant (oil skimmer);
  • system for demagnetizing the coolant (demagnetizer);

External Tool spray mist

The mist is a mixture of air and oil. Spray is activated through M function. The use of the spray mist improves cut quality, avoids accumulation of build-up material keeping the cutting area clean. It also acts as a coolant. It is very useful for improving the quality of finishing. The nebulization device by means of air in pressure and thanks to its closeness to the tool, improves also the high speed performance.

Compressed air through spindle, High Speed

It consists in the use of compressed air, in place of coolant through the spindle, while the spindle is turning. The use of this function is possible up to 24,000 rpm spindle speed.



LEIUHP_CTRL

System which enables the coolant's temperature to be monitored through dedicated refrigerating unit and heater

The system monitors the temperature of the coolant inside the tank by using a probe, which measures the temperature of the environment, and a probe, which is immersed in the liquid. Refrigerating unit or heater is activated, depending if the liquid's temperature is higher or lower than the environmental one. The system is then provided with a mixer which stirs the coolant, in order to prevent liquid from freezing or from not-emulsifying: the mixer is manually activated and can start functioning even when the machine is off.

Temperatures range in which the system can operate: from 0 to 50°C.

It prevents chips and dust to come out from the upper part of machine cabin. The upper protection uses 2 bellow-type covers supported by a purpose-made structure. The front cover automatically opens; it occurs by using the beam's longitudinal movement. Thus it is possible to load/unload workpieces from the top of the working area.

DP_TELESERVICE

Teleservice

Remote assistance service via TeleService connection.

The Seller supplies a communication and remote assistance software which allows, via the Internet, the possibility of connecting to the machine of the End User by Seller's engineers.

The connection is unidirectional and is protected by a password of the End User.

The provided software allows to support the End User in simple and rapid diagnosis of the machine and also allows the remote management and monitoring of the NC.

The service engineers can also quickly and easily search the errors within drives/motors and, thanks to the dynamic display of status signals, it is also possible to analyze the causes that have created the error. The activation of the TeleService line ensures readiness for action, effectiveness of service and minimizes downtime. To use TeleService, the End User must provide a PC with internet access in order to connect to the NC of the machine.

The duration of the service is equal to the warranty period of the machine and can be extended every year. The premise for any condition and technical service is that, upon the request of the Seller, TeleService is immediately available, plugged in and operating. Should this not be, any activity will be provided according to the availability and scheduling of the Seller, and any kind of technical performance, even during the warranty period, will be invoiced.



CAPL


Programmable adaptive control

This device controls the electrical input on the spindle motor and prevents from exceeding the pre-set values. The max electrical input (absorbed power value), depends on tool type, material used and machining done and it is programmed as a percentage of the nominal power. The minimum programmable value is 25% of the nominal power. If during the machining the nominal power is exceeded, this control reduces the rapid feeds until it returns within the limit values. If the speed reduction needed to return within the limit-values exceeds 50% of the nominal power than an Emergency is activated.

In this way, the machine is protected from sudden machining conditions such as variations of machining allowances, impacts against obstacles, tool break or excessive wear.


DREG

Hi-Performance adjustable dynamics

Software permitting the parameter adjustment governing the dynamics of the machine.

The selection is by specific M functions.


Three types of functioning are available:


  • DEFAULT, standard values of the machine suitable for almost all types of machining;
  • OVERLOAD, machine parameters for machining of heavy workpieces (up to +150% of the standard payload of the table);
  • FINE TUNING, machine parameters to obtain on the workpiece surface a very accurate finishing, notwithstanding the weight loaded on the table and the programmed speed.
